1. Scope and who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how We Buy Florida Land (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information through webuyflorida.land and related forms, pages, communications, and property-review activities. It applies to Florida property owners, prospective sellers, buyers who register their acquisition criteria, and other website visitors.

This policy does not cover the independent practices of third parties linked from the site, including county agencies, mapping providers, title companies, attorneys, buyers, or other professionals. Their own privacy notices apply to their services.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

Property submissions may include your name, email, phone number, relationship to the property or owner, ownership type, owner or company name, business or brokerage, authority or permission, contract status and expiration, intended transaction outcome, owner awareness and contact permission, county, property address, parcel or folio number, acreage, asking price, selling timeline, notes, and information about taxes, title, access, occupancy, liens, insurance, code violations, damage, repairs, or demolition.

Buyer registrations may include your name, business name, email, phone number, business type and model, preferred counties, property types, acreage range, budget, closing speed, funding method, and additional buying criteria.

If you communicate with us, we may also keep the contents of the message and information needed to respond or document a potential transaction.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting and security providers may process basic technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, approximate location derived from an IP address, timestamps, and security logs. The language selector stores your chosen language in your browser’s local storage so the site can remember it on that device.

We do not currently use advertising pixels, create a public buyer directory, or sell personal information for targeted advertising.

3. How we use information

  • Review a property and decide whether it may fit our criteria or buyer network.
  • Prepare, discuss, and follow up about a possible cash offer or transaction.
  • Organize buyer profiles and compare seller submissions with stated buying criteria.
  • Send form notifications to our private lead or buyer desk and respond by email, phone, or text.
  • Research parcel, tax, title, zoning, access, condition, market, and other property information.
  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and forms.
  • Prevent fraud, misuse, or security incidents and comply with legal obligations.
  • Maintain records, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

4. When information may be shared

We may disclose information only as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to:

  • Selected buyers and transaction participants. Seller and property information may be shared with buyers, investors, assignees, funding sources, or other transaction participants who may evaluate the property. We do not post seller submissions publicly.
  • Professional and property-service providers. This may include title and escrow companies, closing agents, attorneys, surveyors, inspectors, contractors, engineers, environmental professionals, real-estate professionals, and public agencies involved in research or a transaction.
  • Technology providers. The site uses hosting, database, security, and email-delivery services. These providers may process information to perform services for us.
  • Google Maps. Pages with an interactive map load content from Google. Google may receive technical information according to its own privacy terms.
  • Legal and safety purposes. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, a government request, protect rights or safety, investigate fraud, or enforce agreements.
  • Business changes. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, financing, asset sale, reorganization, or similar business event, subject to applicable law.

We Buy Florida Land may purchase a property directly, assign or resell a contractual interest, market an opportunity to selected buyers, or introduce parties. Information shared for those real-estate purposes is not sold for advertising.

5. Data retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to review opportunities, manage buyer criteria, conduct or document transactions, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the business. Retention may vary based on the type of record and whether a transaction proceeds.

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information. No website, email, database, or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Please do not submit Social Security numbers, bank credentials, payment-card information, passwords, or other unnecessary sensitive information through our property forms.

6. Your privacy choices

Depending on where you live and which privacy laws apply, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of certain personal information, and to opt out of certain processing or sharing. You may also ask us to update or deactivate a buyer profile or stop nonessential communications.

We may need to verify your identity and property or account connection before acting. Authorized-agent requests may require proof of authority. We will respond as required by applicable law.

7. Children’s privacy

This site is intended for adults involved in real-estate research or transactions. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site, business, or law changes. The effective date above shows when the current version took effect. Material changes may also be highlighted on the site when appropriate.
